Books and magazines are a good source of photographs for viewing. Many monographs and 3COLLECT have been printed with a quality that approaches that of display prints. Several books that feature the images of widely 4CLAIM photographers are listed in the bibliography. When examining photographs for the purpose of enhancing your seeing, try to suspend critical judgment and assess your 5INTUITION feelings about each image. Do you like or dislike the image? Do you think it works well for its intended purpose? Look 6CARE at the photographs you like and try to figure out why you like them. 7CONVERSE look at photographs that do not appeal to you and determine why.
